Current responsibilities
Ben Bischmann serves as Executive Vice President and the Midwest Industrial Property Management Lead for JLL. Ben assists his clients in the development, implementation, and oversight of their investment strategies. Other responsibilities include the direction of management, assisting in acquisition due diligence and leasing, transitioning new acquisitions, and the strategic planning and coordination of client management, sustainable practices and construction services.
Experience
Prior to JLL, Ben served as an account manager for Colliers International on a portfolio of 88 properties consisting of over 1.4 million square feet of commercial office space and 5.9 million square feet of industrial space in the Chicago market. Ben began his real estate career with New West Realty, where he served as Broker-Associate. The Chicago based firm specializes in new construction development sales in various Chicago neighborhoods and surrounding suburbs. Ben was involved in the sales of various projects ranging from single-family homes, town homes, live/work lofts, retirement and mixed-used communities. In addition to sales, he was charged with overall project marketing, daily operations, and maintenance of the various Sales Centers.
