Current responsibilities
As Senior Vice President with the Strategic Advisory & Asset Management division of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality Group, Andrew Knauer is primarily responsible for advisory and asset management services for a portfolio of hotel investments on behalf of JLL’s clients with total asset value in excess of $1B.
Experience
Mr. Knauer brings over 15 years of extensive hotel asset management experience across all major brands in both domestic and international markets. Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Knauer led the asset management platform at Schulte Hospitality Group, overseeing a portfolio of 119 hotels and was responsible for investor reporting, coordination of all financial analyses, facilitation of operating/capex budgets and execution of value-add initiatives.
Mr. Knauer previously held asset management positions with Eagle Point Hotel Partners and Beacon Hospitality Partners. Notable clients and joint venture partners have included Starwood Capital Group, Dune Real Estate Partners, Prudential Real Estate Investors and Dorchester Collection.
Education and affiliations
Mr. Knauer holds a B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a M.S. in Real Estate from New York University.
