Current Responsibilities

Andrew is a member of the JLL South Florida Retail Advisory team and is responsible for business development, landlord representation and tenant roll outs throughout the South Florida region. He is extremely well versed in developing retail leasing strategies for shopping centers, urban retail corridors and ground up, mixed use development projects. He has worked across multiple markets throughout the country, focusing on emerging trends and facilitating the movement of concepts from one region to another.

Experience

Prior to joining JLL, Andrew was a Director at the CIM Group, overseeing a vast retail portfolio throughout the eastern United States. High-profile transactions he has been involved with include anchor tenants such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Fresh Market, and Old Navy within various retail centers, and insured the placement of the proper mix of tenants to enhance maximizing revenues. His responsibilities at CIM consisted of managing the entire leasing process from conception to execution, including negotiating leases alongside legal counsel, architects, and construction personnel. He operated as lead asset manager in all phases of property leasing and development.

Prior to CIM, Andrew was a Real Estate Agent for H&R Retail and the MFI Group in Baltimore Maryland, specializing in landlord and tenant representation. During that time, Andrew leased and managed a portfolio consisting of over four million square feet of retail space. Additionally, he coordinated with companies prior to the construction phase of multiple projects controlled by entities such as Kimco, AmCap, and BIG Centers, developing competitive strategies while proactively counseling clients on market conditions and pricing.

Andrew started his career as a Commercial Banker and Portfolio manager for BB&T Bank. He managed credit for a portfolio in excess of $300 million, with much of this portfolio centered around commercial real estate providing him with a deep understanding of risk, and direct/indirect exposure.

Education and Affiliations

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the Eller School of Business at the University of Arizona. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). In his spare time you can find Andrew on the golf course or on the tennis courts.
