JLL Capital Markets closed the sale of the recently renovated shopping center to Asana Partners
DALLAS, Aug. 16, 2021 – JLL Capital Markets announced today that it has closed the sale of The Hill, a 240,000-square-foot shopping destination at the northeast corner of Walnut Hill and Central Expressway in the heart of Dallas, Texas.
JLL represented the seller, EB Arrow. Asana Partners purchased the asset in an off-market transaction.
Completed in 1977 with a mid-century modern aesthetic, The Hill underwent substantial renovations to evolve into a modern shopping center with a sleek design and eclectic mix of restaurants and retailers that cater to the local community. The property is arranged around an interior courtyard punctuated with 30-year old oak trees, allowing shoppers to patronize more than 30 curated retail, restaurants, fitness and service providers while getting fresh air and enjoying green space and original art. Tenants include Movement, Camp, bellagreen, Houndstooth Coffee, Hiatus Spa + Retreat, Snooze, Taco Deli, Hat Creek Burger Co. and Boardroom Salon for Men.
Located in north central Dallas at 8041 Walnut Lane, The Hill’s proximity to Preston Hollow, Lake Highlands, Lakewood and Park Cities allows it to serve the everyday needs of both the affluent and mature as well as the younger, family focused customer.
