Real estate veteran Joe Gordon joins JLL as Managing Director

CHICAGO, July 6, 2021 — JLL welcomes the addition of Joe Gordon to its Chicago agency leasing team, effective immediately. As Managing Director, Gordon will take on new business development responsibilities, product leasing within the JLL portfolio and providing mentorship to young team members. 

Gordon comes to JLL with more than 35 years of real estate experience throughout Chicago as well as other markets. During his career, Gordon engaged in lease transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, development, underwriting, capital planning and project management. Most notably, he managed the leasing group for a commercial office portfolio ranging from 7 million to 14 million square feet.

JLL recently released its Chicago Downtown Office Insight - Q2 2021 report stating that physical occupancy levels are expected to gradually increase throughout the summer, followed by more significant re-entry efforts and leasing activity in September.

Gordon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and has a history of success in customer and investor relationships, development and execution of marketing and leasing strategies, hiring, training and personnel evaluation.
