Manufacturer and Distributor Acquires Industrial Building in Carlsbad, California for $3.09 Million

CARLSBAD, CALIF, January 21, 2021 – JLL announced today that Island Batik has paid $3,095,000 for a freestanding 14,725-square-foot industrial building located at 2768 Loker Avenue West in Carlsbad, California. Island Batik, a manufacturer, importer and distributor of cotton batik, rayon batik and hand-printed cotton from Indonesia will occupy 10,600 square feet of the building. 

JLL’s Chris Baumgart and Steven Field represented the seller, J&L 2768 Loker, LLC, in the transaction. Island Batik was represented by Conor Boyle and Tyler Stemley of Colliers.

2768 Loker Avenue West is ideally located adjacent to Palomar Airport Road and just minutes from Interstate 5 Freeway, providing convenient access to nearby communities. The building features two grade level loading doors, 16 foot to 18-foot clear height, 600 amps of power, newly installed roof and excellent signage.
