NASHVILLE, Tenn, July 25, 2024 — JLL today announces that David Cripe has been promoted and will now serve as the Project and Development Services (PDS) lead for the Tennessee region. Based in Nashville, Cripe will apply over 25 years of industry experience to promote the growth and expansion of the PDS business line, particularly in Nashville and Memphis. In addition to his new responsibilities, Cripe will continue to lead JLL’s Southeast healthcare practice where he is focused on growing the PDS team’s healthcare portfolio and capabilities across the Southeast.

As PDS lead for the Tennessee region, Cripe will be responsible for overseeing the business line’s continued growth throughout the state. He joined JLL in 2022 as Senior Vice President to lead the firm’s Southeast healthcare practice. With more than 10 years of experience in Nashville, Cripe brings expertise in overseeing large-scale projects from inception to delivery. Throughout his 25-year career, he has overseen more than $2 billion in capital projects.

“Nashville's diverse scope of industry sets it apart from competing markets, creating an environment where companies can thrive and grow,” said Cripe. “There is incredible opportunity here and the city’s attractiveness as both an entertainment and business destination promotes talent retention. Over the past few years, JLL has truly grown alongside Nashville and in this next chapter for our team, I look forward to us embracing even more opportunities for growth throughout the region.”

Nashville continues to experience unprecedented population and business growth. Due to its business-friendly climate and vibrant culture, Nashville is one of the leading southeast cities for a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, automotive, financial and more. Earlier this year, software giant Oracle announced plans to relocate its world headquarters to Nashville, a nod to the city’s emergence as the nation's fastest-growing healthcare hub. As its population grows, Nashville continues to see a wave of investment and new development in both the urban core and suburban markets.

“David’s outstanding leadership of our Southeast healthcare practice as well as his roots and expertise in the Nashville market made him the clear choice for this position,” said Alex Demestihas, JLL’s Managing Director of PDS for the Southeast Region. “We are confident that he will play an impactful role in driving growth across the state while delivering high-quality services and fostering relationships with our current and future clients.”
