JLL adds project development professional to Government and Education practice

Stephanie Marcus joins JLL to expand local markets housing and development expertise

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 31, 2022 – JLL announced today that it has hired Stephanie Marcus as Vice President in its Local Markets Advisory Services group within JLL’s Government and Education practice and will focus on housing and mixed-use project development, project management, due diligence and feasibility studies for local government, federal agencies and higher education institutions.

Based in Washington, D.C., Marcus joins JLL with more than 20 years of real estate development experience ranging from initiation to completion of construction projects valued at over $750 million. She has extensive knowledge and experience identifying and evaluating new and redevelopment transactions for both market-rate housing and mixed-use developments, as well as LIHTC and workforce housing opportunities. Prior to JLL, Marcus was Vice President of Development at Stratford Capital Group and Van Metre Companies.

Marcus earned a LEED AP designation from the U.S. Green Building Council and is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Public Policy Studies. She also has been a long-time member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI.)
