Fintech company to relocate to new Durham.ID office building

JLL advises Spreedly on full-floor lease at prime downtown location

Durham, N.C., Oct. 7, 2019 – JLL is pleased to announce that software provider Spreedly has signed a full-floor lease for 25,000 square feet at the seven-story Durham.ID building at 300 Morris Street in downtown Durham.

The company currently occupies approximately 10,000 square feet at 733 Foster Street and plans to relocate its headquarters in the spring of 2020.

Spreedly’s software helps fast-growing online merchants build payments systems that boost their flexibility and drive more revenue. With approximately 65 employees, up 40% from a year ago, the company is relocating in order to accommodate rapid growth and to position itself for future talent recruitment.

Spreedly will join WeWork, Kimley-Horn and Bowl Durham at the 160,000-square-foot Durham.ID building, which will include 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a rooftop restaurant and terrace. Part of the 15-acre Durham Innovation District, an emerging tech and life science cluster with an active street life, the building is walkable to dozens of nearby restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
