Drizly subleases prime office space in Boston’s Back Bay

In the largest Back Bay sublease to date in 2021, Drizly looks forward to expansion

BOSTON, March 17, 2021 – Today, JLL announced that their client, Aquent, has subleased a portion of the 3rd floor at 501 Boylston Street to Drizly. The 30,665 square feet lease will support Drizly’s expanded operations. The plug & play space features an open floor plan with completely unassigned desking, a concept likely to be adopted by many companies embracing a hybrid work model going forward.

According to JLL research, at the start of 2021 subleases began to come off market, signaling that tenants were planning on reoccupying office space as the pandemic’s outlook continues to improve. Data shows the average sublease in Back Bay is around 11,000 square feet, making Drizly’s sublease at 501 Boylston a market moving deal thus far in 2021.
