Alumni Ventures moves to new Manchester HQ

MANCHESTER, N.H., May 2, 2022 – JLL announced today that Alumni Ventures (AV), a network-powered venture capital firm, has officially moved into its new Manchester headquarters after consolidating three office locations.

AV has signed a long-term lease to occupy 27,351 square feet at 670 North Commercial Street, a historic mill building that features unrivaled river views and brick-and-beam charm. The consolidation initiative is part of the firm’s efforts to meet fast-growing demand from investors for access to venture capital investing opportunities while fostering brand, workforce, and culture development under one roof. The new headquarters not only allows AV to remain in Manchester, but also provides ample opportunity for AV to expand over the next decade and beyond.

The space features two large kitchens for events and employee gatherings, multiple areas for informal seating to enable a variety of flexible workspaces, and long hallways to foster fun space for driving electric scooters onsite. Long-term expansion plans include building a library and a gym. Employees can also enjoy an incredible “Overlook Room,” boasting unparalleled river views and features that remain from the building’s historical manufacturing roots. The high ceilings provide the potential for expansion through building loft space, giving AV the opportunity to grow in place.

In looking for a space, Alumni Ventures wanted to address the different types of connections between teams and how that translated into designed space. The new headquarters offers dedicated offices and conference rooms for meetings, collaborative and open workspace, and flexible space for larger meetings and events. State-of-the-art technology within the conference spaces allow for quality interactions and connectivity to remote and nationwide offices.
