Methodist Health System is now a 12-hospital healthcare provider with the mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare. After experiencing meaningful growth over the years, Methodist’s President & COO, Pam Stoyanoff, knew their organization had opportunities for cost savings, performance improvement and system-wide standardization.
Methodist enlisted JLL as a facilities management partner to address existing challenges and siloes, incorporate data and business intelligence, enhance the patient experience and improve financial performance. Despite initial internal resistance to bringing on a strategic real estate partner, Pam’s leadership and strategy paid off. JLL worked with Methodist Health System employees to address partnership concerns while using data to improve the overall facilities and operations across the system. The partnership between JLL and Methodist’s facilities and operations team has only strengthened over the years, and as Pam notes in the video, the change has been material. By increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of system processes, Methodist is now on track to generate $10 million in net savings within 5 years while continuing to achieve their mission of improving and saving lives through quality, compassionate healthcare.
