The Big Slick is a big hit in KC

  • Every year since 2010, celebrities pour into Kansas City for the Big Slick Charity Event. It all started with three local celebrities, Rob Riggle, Jason Sudeikis, and Paul Rudd, coming together to host a poker tournament to raise money for Children’s Mercy.

  • Over the years this event has evolved in a huge way from a small poker tournament raising approximately $120k to several events ranging from silent and live auctions to a softball tournament at Kauffman Stadium raising over $6 million. All of the money raised goes directly to Children’s Mercy, but lately, the money is being directed more toward their cancer research.

  • This year hometown celebrity heroes; Paul Rudd, Rob Riggle, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stone Street, & David Keochner hosted a record 37 famous guests on June 1st & 2nd. Not only do these guests raise the money, they also pay a visit to the children they are raising money to help. No doubt that 2018 will be the Big Slick’s biggest year.
