Super-Commuting on the Rise in San Francisco, According to New Study

  • According to a recent study of U.S. census data compiled by Apartment List, the population of “super commuters” in San Francisco (those with commute times over 90 minutes) has grown 112.7% between 2005 and 2016.  West Coast cities such as San Francisco, San Jose, and Los Angeles saw the largest percentage increase over this time period.

  • In an increasingly gridlocked Bay Area, being located in close proximity to either BART or Caltrain is becoming an ever-more valuable asset for businesses, helping them attract and retain talent.
