Experienced ‘Metroburb’ developer enters Chicago with transformative plans for former AT&T campus

  • ​Somerset Development, an East Coast developer, is in negotiations purchase the former AT&T Campus in Hoffman Estates, vacant 1.6 million square-feet multi-complex prime for redevelopment.

  •  Vacant since 2014, the site was seized by C-III Asset Management through foreclosure in 2017.

  • Last Monday, May 14, Hoffman Estates Council approved Somerset’s proposed concept for the site, including: 550 residential units, 1.2 million square-feet of offices, a 200 room-hotel, and over 10,000 square-feet of conference space and retail, dubbed “City Works.”
