Sale price discrepancy between CBD and suburbs near decade-high

• While sale prices in the suburbs have remained relatively stable throughout the course of this cycle, sale prices in the CBD have risen sharply. The high price discrepancy makes the suburbs an attractive value buy to investors, especially those who have been priced out of Boston.

• Recent notable investment sales include the sale of the 65-acre, 5-building former Reebok headquarters from Reebok International to Spear Street Capital for $88 million, as well as AEW Capital’s purchase of a 200,000-square-foot office building at 105 Rosemont Road in Westwood for $53.1 million.
