Institutional investors flocking to Portland

  • ​Portland saw more than $1.15 billion of office assets trade hands in 2016, the highest level the market has seen since 2007. 
  • Institutional buyers were the dominant players in town, with buyers showing great interest in CBD assets.  Buyer pools have deepened as increasing numbers of institutions try to enter the market.
  • CBD pricing has surpassed pre-recession levels for both Class A and B properties with Class A pricing averaging $347 per square foot and Class B averaging $297 per square foot.
