Greater Legacy – its position as a key business hub intensifies as companies relocate and expand

• Legacy began in the 1980s as corporate users were attracted to the area’s ample, inexpensive land for campus development, along with solid regional access and growing new housing options.

• In the 2000s, Legacy evolved into a premiere business address as companies like Dr. Pepper, Ericsson, Capital One, AmerisourceBergen, and others established a significant corporate presence.

• Office development has continued to intensify with major corporate users moving in during 2015 and 2017.

• Between 2015 and 2017, we estimate that office employment increased in greater Legacy by more than 15,000 – bringing the daytime workforce to approximately 100,000.

• Additional jobs from already announced corporate move-ins and the lease-up of multi-tenant space now in the pipeline will create an additional 31,000 jobs over the next few years.
