Here’s where the largest deals occurred along the I-680 Corridor in 2017

  • The I-680 Corridor held steady throughout 2017 as moderate demand from large users drove leasing activity. Wells Fargo, TriNet, and Easter Seals signed the largest deals of the year, in addition to a steady stream of small-to-mid-sized leases. Deals were largely concentrated near transit nodes and amenities like BART stations, major commuter routes, or shopping centers. Total leasing activity (greater than  20,000 square feet) exceeded 380,000 square feet at year-end.

  • Touring activity is strong for larger users in the South I-680 Corridor, though few large blocks greater than 50,000 square feet remain. Park Place, Dublin Corporate Center, and Bishop Ranch are among the remaining Class A large blocks available, while Rosewood Commons is substantially leased. However, recent large block availabilities in Walnut Creek and Concord have opened up the North I-680 market, namely at 3003 Oak Road, 2001 Clayton Road, and 1200 Concord, and has sparked some large user activity in recent quarters.
