Washington named the 5th best state in the nation, with the 2nd best infrastructure

According to the 2017 U.S. News Best States Report, Washington is the fifth best state based on its ranking within 68 metrics across seven weighted categories. These categories included healthcare, education, infrastructure, crime and corrections, opportunity, economy and government. Washington’s highest category placement was in infrastructure.

Infrastructure is based evenly on Energy, Internet Access and Transportation.  Washington ranked well in internet
