Creative office development lags while elevated TAMI lease rollovers draw near

Across Metro DC, vacancy in creative office assets sits at 9.6% – 730 basis points below the average for all types of
office product.

The tenant base in Metro DC is diversifying as TAMI (technology, advertising, media and information) companies
take root with increasing frequency. The rise of TAMI companies has created increased appetite for creative office space and yet developers continue to cater mostly to the region’s traditional tenants, such as the contracting and
legal sectors.
