MSP International Airport is one of the best in the U.S., an enticing draw for headquarters

  • Minneapolis-St. Paul is home to one of the highest concentrations of Fortune 500 headquarters in the nation. Naturally, the region has one of the best international airports in North America to serve these large employers. MSP International Airport is the 13th busiest in the nation, offering direct flights to 126 U.S. cities and 29 foreign markets, including Europe and Asia. The airport carried a record 37.5 million passengers in 2016.
  • MSP International receives numerous accolades every year for its efficiency, service, and retail amenities that cater to business travelers and family vacationers alike. Minnesota’s cold and snowy winters are an asset, as the airport can operate in weather conditions that cripple other major airports. Over 85% of MSP’s departures are on time. Compare this to La Guardia, O’Hare, and LAX where passengers have a one in four chance of a delayed flight.
  • We’ll be keeping an eye out for potential future headquarter deals, especially as more employers decide to take advantage of Minneapolis-St. Paul’s unprecedented connectivity.
