The tenant mix within LA’s Skyline office buildings reflects the highly diverse local economy

  • The Downtown Los Angeles Skyline is highly tenanted by legal, financial services and insurance firms, at 39.0 percent. The remaining share is highly diverse, more so than its Skyline counterpart in Century City. Legacy industries that have called DTLA home for decades, including oil and gas, government, and accounting, make up a greater share here, creating a more diverse tenant mix.
  • In Century City, legal, financial services and insurance firms also represent a large share, at 37.7%, but creative industries take up more space in the Skyline here. Media and business management tenants make up 13.6 percent and 11.9 percent of tenants, respectively, reflecting the West Side’s bend toward the media and entertainment industry.
