Report | San Diego Office Statistics - Q1 2011

Summary

The San Diego office market continued its slow, steady move towards equilibrium in the first quarter following the first year of positive net absorption since the onset of the Great Recession. Just over 160,000 square feet of positive net absorption was recorded and total vacancy fell slightly to 17.5 percent. Notably, the development pipeline saw the start of a new 83,000-square-foot Class A office project in Rancho Bernardo, the first significant construction project in some time.
