Summary

Metro Atlanta demand was flat in early 2011, with 125,000 square feet of occupancy losses, the bulk of which were contributed by the suburban market. Across the board, Class A properties have been faring better than the Class B sector, with 652,000 square feet positively absorbed in the tier one buildings. Vacancies sat at 21.0 percent with 34.2 million square feet of empty space. Direct average pricing was $20.06 per square foot.
