Report | Not just a rate hike
As we predicted, the Fed hiked rates 25 basis points last week, and we now expect two more hikes this year with the possibility of three more hikes in 2018 and 2019.
Abroad, the political uncertainty cleared its first hurdle as the Dutch voted against the far-right, anti-European Union candidate. However, at least two or three key European elections remain this year. And with the Fed clearly laying out its monetary policy, the focus will now turn to the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan.
