San Diego's Class B average asking rental rate is now outpacing Class A, with the gap between the two closing by 3.1 percent over the past four quarters (as of Q3). Class A rents now sit only 0.6 percent below their previous peak level reached in 2007. At the end of Q3, the overall market office supply pipeline of 188,435 square feet was the lowest number we've seen in the past six years. The lull in activity should present the opportunity for recent deliveries to lease up.
