Summary

Despite a lack large deals, Orange County saw positive net absorption in Q3 as a number of small and mid-size deals helped to fill the void. The Airport Area, South County, West County and North County submarkets have all recorded quarterly and year-to-date occupancy gains, demonstrating positive demand within the market.

While Orange County recorded significant year-over-year rent growth of 9.6 percent, select micro markets like Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Laguna Hills/Aliso Viejo and Brea/La Habra also saw substantial rent increases from Q2 to Q3. ​
