Report | Miami Office Insight - Q3 2016
Miami-Dade County's strong pace of leasing activity continued into Q3, with 170 deals being done across nine major office submarkets. It's the second straight quarter of rising leasing activity in the market after a slow start to 2016.
Landlord confidence doesn't appear to be wavering with total weighted average direct asking rates rising for a tenth consecutive quarter, up 1.2 percent quarter-on-quarter in Q3. Only one submarket subclass—Downtown Miami Class B—saw its direct asking rates on existing availabilities decrease.
