With major tech companies grabbing huge chunks of space over the last two years, large blocks have become increasing hard to find. Throughout the entire Mid-Peninsula, only 12 blocks of space now remain of 50,000 square feet or greater (as of Q1 2016).
And, as Google and Facebook expand, additional demand is likely over the next 12 to 18 months. We hear developers are looking to add additional space across Redwood City and San Mateo, even with more than 1.2 million square feet currently under construction.
