Summary

Vacancy rates are now at 15-year lows across Seattle-Bellevue, with 2016 set to become the most active year for office development since the 2008 recession.

The development pipeline continues to be a hot point of contention. Nearly 6.8 million square feet is currently under construction, although only 38.4 percent of that is preleased. 

Investors were active in Q1, totaling more than $851.4 million in transactions across Puget Sound. The majority of action this quarter happened in suburban submarkets like Kent Valley and Redmond.​
