New product continues to drive up rents across Raleigh-Durham. These new developments are advertising asking rents up to $35.00 per square foot.
While quarterly net absorption reached a two-year market low in Q1, Downtown Durham’s vacancy rate hit an all-time low.
Total direct vacancy in Downtown Durham is now just 2.4 percent and Class A vacancies are under 2.0 percent. Duke University’s expansion into two new buildings downtown helped push those numbers downward.
