While large blocks of space remain in some suburban submarkets, Q1 saw positive net absorption across most Milwaukee submarkets. The majority came via the Class A market in the CBD.
Downtown East and Downtown West will likely take a bit of a hit in the second quarter when delivery of Milwaukee’s newest office tower takes place. A number of large-scale tenants moving to 833 East have yet to vacate their old spaces across those two submarkets.
