Summary

​Both the Greenwich CBD and non-CBD saw increased leasing activity in Q1 as a 2.2 percent rise in absorption pushed rental rates to pre-recession levels. Rents are now as high as $100.00 per square foot in some buildings across Greenwich.​

Meanwhile, Stamford’s CBD saw leasing activity slow despite Stamford South gaining more momentum from 132,000 square feet of positive absorption. 

It isn’t all bad news for Stamford’s CBD, however. We see law firms and financial tenants likely continuing to renew or lease new space there going forward.
