Rents for CBD Class A buildings now sit at $51.00 per square foot (as of Q1 2016), a 33.6 percent increase from last year. That’s the strongest year-over-year growth in CBD history.

While interest has come from a number of industries, non-profits and professional services now dominate the majority of demand across the metro area after being priced out of markets across the Bay Bridge.
