Hartford is in the midst of a revitalization downtown, with the CBD seeing particularly strong sales activity in 2015—including four large Class A sales.
The suburbs certainly weren’t left out of this overall market boom, however. The West submarket saw strong leasing activity totaling more than 150,000 square feet of positive absorption—driving down vacancy rates there to 11.0 percent. We expect positive suburban leasing activity to continue into 2016.
