Report | Columbus Office Insight - Q4 2015
Companies moving into Columbus’s urban core in an effort to draw in top millennials were the driving force behind the city’s continued dip in vacancies over the past year—although that trend isn’t likely to continue through 2016.
Additional suburban corporate consolidations—from companies like Nationwide and Verizon—will increase overall vacancy rates and drive rents down across the market.
Nevertheless, market-wide construction numbers remain strong for both speculative and owner occupied buildings—with companies like Amazon and Expedient expanding operations.
