Report | Westchester Office Insight - Q4 2015
2015 may not have been a banner year for Westchester County in terms of leasing velocity and recording, but two large-block deals of more than 420,000 square feet in Q4 helped salvage the year’s final quarter—and that success should continue in 2016.
Tenant demand in White Plaines CBD was up more than 29 percent from 2014, and several large leases are set to expire at the end of 2016 that fit well with submarket’s traditional demographic. We expect renovations at some premier Class A buildings in the CBD to attract a number of top firms looking to move into the area.
