Report | Baltimore Tech Office Outlook - 2015
While Baltimore offers low "all-in" cost (a combination of real estate and wage costs per employee) for tech firms, it isn't considered favorable towards start-ups right now on the whole.
Why? Technology firms currently looking for space within submarkets like Canton and Federal Hill have virtually no options, and vacancy in the Southeast has dropped to 6.9 percent. New construction is coming soon to Baltimore Southeast, which will bring much needed options, but conditions are expected to remain tight until then.
