Report | San Diego Law Firm Outlook - 2015

Summary

San Diego-area law firms are dealing with a neutral market that’s in transition towards landlord-favorability (starting in 2016).

Firms looking for large blocks of high-end space are finding fewer options to choose from, and second-generation quality options are also limited.

Despite issues with availability, there are open listings for quality space available as some firms downsize their offices. Transaction volume has also decreased slightly, resulting in a bit less competition for tenants currently seeking space.

Our local Law Firm Perspective provides a thorough overview of the San Diego market to help you better shape your strategy. We explore conditions across San Diego’s submarkets, from rental rates—including TI allowance and discounts for Class B space—to demand among professional and business services firms.
