Report | Pittsburgh Law Firm Outlook - 2015

Summary

Pittsburgh-area law firms looking to upgrade to Trophy space are likely to find their options limited, as this class of space remains at near-full occupancy levels market-wide.

Several large-scale projects have been proposed in the CBD, although only one (Tower Two-Sixty) is currently under construction, limiting options for potential tenants.

Firms looking for large blocks of space may turn to buildings previously leased by tenants who underwent rightsizing in the last 18 months. The availability of Class B space is also giving tenants leverage, although the market is expected to be neutral through 2019.

Our local Law Firm Perspective provides a thorough overview of the Pittsburgh market to help you better shape your strategy. We explore conditions across Pittsburgh, from rental rates—including premiums for Trophy space and discounts for Class B space—to demand among professional and business services firms.
