Summary

Net absorption was positive during the quarter, with the suburban markets reporting stronger activity than the CBD. The vacancy rate for Class A space was higher than Class B space in the overall market, but was particularly pronounced in the CBD where 34.6 percent of Class A space was vacant versus 19.5 percent of Class B space. The gap between Class A and Class B rents was especially wide in the CBD, but narrowed in the suburban markets.
