Report | Miami-Dade Industrial Outlook - Q2 2011
Miami’s industrial forecast looks optimistic with sixth consecutive quarters of positive absorption. The year-to-date total net absorption of the County was reported to be 814,889 square feet.
The second quarter saw a rise in the big box leases being signed. Confidence is crawling back into the market and leasing activity is picking up steam. Vacancy rate for the overall industrial market was 10.0 percent. We expect vacancy rates to continue their downward trend and the markets to be more landlord-favorable over this year.
