Industrial Report

United States | Los Angeles, CA

Report | Los Angeles Industrial Outlook - Q1 2011

Summary

With unemployment falling in Los Angeles and Orange counties, and container volumes showing signs of solid growth at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the economy of the Los Angeles Metro area appears to be on the mend.  The Inland Empire is showing robust signs of growth and leads all other industrial markets in the U.S. in the march towards recovery.  The Orange County and Los Angeles markets appear to have bottomed out, with Orange County, in particular, showing widespread improvement in vacancy rates and asking rents.
