Transactions from the quarter exemplify tenants’ divergent needs such as straight renewals, additions or contractions of space, as well as consolidations.
Although no sales transactions occurred during the quarter, numerous properties continue to be marketed across the area. A variety of triggers have initiated such listings including distress and strategic plays, among others.
While overall vacancy rates are not expected to decrease significantly during the year, Class A properties should continue to chip away at their vacancy and position themselves to pull back on many of the incentives needed to lure tenants to relocate.
