Current responsibilities
Mark Dennis serves as a Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project and Development Services group.  He is responsible for ensuring his client’s interests are represented throughout the project delivery process.  This process includes budget and schedule development, design team selection, review of design and construction documents, construction bidding and negotiation, contract management, and management of construction costs and schedules.
Mr. Dennis is currently providing project management for a 12,000-square-foot renovation of Class A office space for Barclays Capital, their third such project with JLL in Houston within two years.  The project includes design and construction of extensive IT and HVAC equipment, raised floor, a dry cooler, demountable partitions and trading desks.  He is leading a team of 40+ team members to expand his client’s business in Fulbright Tower.
Project & Development Services
Mr. Dennis most recently provided project management for a $3.6M, 82,000-square-foot multi-floor tenant improvement project in a new shell building for ABB.  He also provided project management for a three-phase, 24,000-square-foot renovation of Class A office space for Barclays Capital to merge three business groups into a single floor.  His project experience includes project management for a 49,000-square-foot renovation for Invesco AIM’s Equity Investment group, coordination for a 50,000-square-foot build-to-suit expansion for FMC Technologies, as well as a 39,0000-square-foot pre-engineered steel building for Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine in Galveston, TX.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Dennis served as a Construction Manager for a Houston-based home builder for over two years.  His duties included management of the simultaneous construction of over 20 homes.  He also served four years in the U.S. Air Force as an Acquisitions Officer for the GPS Joint Program Office, earning the rank of Captain.
Mr. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.  He is pursuing a Master of Science in Technology Project Management from the University of Houston.
