Current responsibilities
Michel Seifer is a Managing Director of JLL’s Capital Markets group’s Western Region with principal responsibilities for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

In that role, Michel's other primary responsibilities include oversight of all equity and debt capital raising activities in the region.

Michel is also a member of JLL's Northwest Region Executive Committee which provides management oversight of the Firm’s operational activities in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

In this capacity, he has provided leadership and support on several key growth initiatives including the merger and acquisition of Pacific Real Estate Partners as well as the recruitment of a number of senior brokerage professionals in the region.

Before re-joining the Capital Markets Group in 1997, Michel was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager in LaSalle Advisors, responsible for a retail portfolio in excess of four million square feet.

Prior to that, he was a member of a venture between LaSalle Partners and Dai-ichi Mutual Life Insurance Company, responsible for advising Dai-ichi on the ownership and management of its $4 billion U.S. real estate portfolio. Michel has been with JLL for 25 years having joined the company in 1990 as a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Finance Group.

Since 2004, Michel has completed over $7.5 billion in real estate transactions, including nearly $2.0 billion in debt related assignments.

Key client relationships include Angelo Gordon, Beacon Capital, Blackstone, Deutsche Bank, DivcoWest, Embarcadero Capital, Farallon, Fortress, Invesco, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Pacific Coast Capital, Prudential, Shorenstein, Tishman Speyer, Wells Fargo and Walton Street.

In addition, he has advised a number of prominent corporations on their owned/occupied real estate portfolio including Bank of America, Catholic Healthcare West, Cisco, Citigroup, EFI, Goldman Sachs, Kaiser, RE/MAX, Sephora, State Compensation, Sun Microsystems, Twitter, Windriver and Xerox.

Michel received an A.B. from Dartmouth College. He is also a Registered Securities Representative (Series 7 and 63), and State of California Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
