Career Summary    

Michael Zietsman is an International Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets. He is responsible for advancing the firm's growth strategy, executing large national transactions and managing client relationships and transactions in the Southwest.

Prior to joining JLL in 2007, Mr. Zietsman was the President and CEO of Zietsman Realty Partners. From 2000 to 2004 Mr. Zietsman was a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers' Global Real Estate Group where he was responsible for the real estate asset finance business. Mr. Zietsman started his career with JLL in Los Angeles in 1983. He was stationed in Tokyo in 1991 and 1992 where he managed the firm's business activities with Japanese institutional investors. In 1993 he assumed responsibility for the firm's Capital Markets Group in the western U.S. based in Los Angeles.  Mr. Zietsman has 34 years experience in the sale, joint venture and financing of office, high street retail, multifamily and hotel properties, with an aggregate value in excess of $11 billion. In April 2016, Michael successfully closed one of JLL Capital Markets' largest deals on record, the $1.1 billion sale of The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Zietsman received a B.S. in Business Administration, Real Estate Finance from San Diego State University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and International Council of Shopping Centers.

The Shops at Crystals – a 324,105 sf luxury shopping center in Las Vegas, Nevada on behalf of MGM Resorts & Dubai World.
G&L Southern California Portfolio – a 491,657 sf medical office portfolio with assets in Beverly Hills and Southern California on behalf of G&L Realty. 
5900 Wilshire – a 452,765 sf office tower in Los Angeles on behalf of PGIM Real Estate.
Pasadena Towers – a 477,181 sf office campus in Pasadena on behalf of Beacon Capital Partners.
Republic Plaza – a 1.3 million sf trophy office tower in Downtown Denver on behalf of Brookfield Office Properties.
Lenox Park – a 1,040,327 sf office park leased to AT&T in Atlanta, GA on behalf of Columbia Property Trust.
G&L North LA Portfolio – a 363,229 sf medical office portfolio with assets in Northern LA County on behalf of G&L Realty Corporation.
