Current responsibilities
Kay Younglove joined JLL in February 2010. She and her partners are currently responsible for marketing and leasing One and Two Paces West in Vinings, totaling approximately 650,000 square feet, The Pavilion at 5780 Powers Ferry Rd, containing approximately 128,000 square feet and 6200 The Corners Parkway in Peachtree Corners, containing approximately 143,000 square feet.   

Kay and her partner, Kevin Lott, experienced great success in 2013 at Hammond Exchange, a GE owned Class A asset in Central Perimeter, by signing a 175,000 sf lease that brought the previously vacant 11-story, 250,000 sf office building to 100% occupancy in less than 12 months of winning the assignment. 

Prior to joining JLL, Kay, in her role as Vice President of Colonial Properties Trust, was responsible for leasing a 1.7 million square foot, Class A office portfolio, which included Regions Plaza and The Peachtree in Midtown, Three Ravinia Drive and 1455 Lincoln Parkway in the Central Perimeter and The Park at Windward Concourse in North Fulton. In addition, she provided oversight of the company's marketing efforts for a 3 million square foot portfolio in Atlanta.

Kay is a 30-year veteran of the Atlanta commercial real estate business, having successfully leased some of the city's most high profile office buildings.

During her tenure with Colonial and its predecessor, CRT Properties, Younglove increased occupancy of 805,000 square foot, Three Ravinia from 49% to 95%. In 2007, Younglove closed 536,880 square feet of lease transactions, with a total aggregate value of over $123 million, eclipsing her previous record of $90 million.

As a result she was named by NAIOP as the Number 1 Top Producer for office leasing in the city. Notable transactions included a 358,500 square foot renewal and expansion of Intercontinental Hotels Group and a 103,657 square foot lease with Eclipsys Corporation at Three Ravinia.  

Kay previously served as Senior Vice President of Prentiss Properties, where she oversaw the company's leasing and management activities in Atlanta. In addition, from 1991-2001, she was responsible for leasing One Atlantic Center (The IBM Tower), the 50-story office landmark in Midtown, along with numerous other urban and suburban assets. In 2000, Younglove closed over $90 million worth of lease transactions and was named for the fourth time in ten years as a top-five producer for office leasing in Atlanta.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle awarded the 301,000 square foot sublease that Younglove negotiated between IBM and the FDIC as the "Best Office Deal of the Year" for 1994 and her 225,000 square foot sublease between IBM and the Coca-Cola Company as the "Best Office Deal of the Year" for 1997.

These transactions were the largest office leases made in Atlanta during those years and were unique in that Younglove negotiated both leases directly with the tenants, with no outside broker. 

Prior to her tenure with Prentiss, Younglove leased Peachtree Center, the six-tower, three million square foot multi-use complex in downtown Atlanta for five years.

During the first eight years of her career, Younglove leased nine suburban office parks for Metro Atlanta Properties, where she oversaw leasing and property management for the company and personally closed an average of 52 leases per year. 

Kay is, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of the Dekalb Perimeter Community Improvement District and a past president and charter member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Atlanta where she serves on the Past President's Advisory Council.

She is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and a graduate of Georgia State University.

She previously served on the Board of Directors for Midtown Alliance, Buckhead Christian Ministry and was a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors where she now serves on the President's Advisory Group and as a Trustee of the Realtors Political Action Committee. She is also currently an active member of NAIOP and REGA.
