Our people

Current responsibilities 
Nick Jacobs joined JLL in January 2007. He is responsible for managing a team that oversees global and domestic acquisition and disposition transaction activity for Ally Financial, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Amdocs, GAI Consultants, Inc., Alcoa, Walter Financial, the Communication Workers of America, HCL and AMT Consultants.  His team solely represents 45 million square feet of transactions on behalf of his client base globally.

Nick previously managed all transaction activity for Unisys and Metropolitan Life having spent five years as the Global Transaction Manager.  In this role, he was responsible for overseeing 15 million square feet of transactions in 31 countries worldwide.

Recent international experience includes: India, France, Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, UK, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Columbia, Mexico, and all of North America.  Over five years, he reduced their global footprint from 15 million to 4.5 million square feet, which successfully saved them more than $80 million dollars in operating expenses. 

Since joining JLL, Nick has closed over 1,000 transactions equivalent to more than $500 million dollars in aggregate lease value. Other recent client representation assignments include: Lockheed Martin, Health Net, Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Boston Scientific, Urban Design Associates, Stantec, and Intel.

Experience
Nick has more than 19 years of experience in the corporate real estate business. Previously, Nick spent nine years as the Vice President and founding member of Woodmark Commercial Services in Washington, D.C., where he specialized in agency leasing, investment sales, and tenant representation transactions.  Prior to that he was a member of the Washington, DC Agency Leasing team at CBRE.    

Awards
Nick has been chosen to receive CoStar's Power Broker Award for years 2008 - 2013 and named in the Pittsburgh Business Times "Top Office Leases and Renewals" Lists as the 10th largest office transaction in 2010 and 5th largest in 2012.   

Education
Nick earned his degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He has been licensed Salesperson in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. since 1996.

He is a member of NAIOP, Rotary of Pittsburgh, and volunteers for the Make a Wish Foundation.
